Patients in South Dakota are required to see their physicians at least once a year to keep their state-issued medical cards valid.
You have a 45-day window to initiate the renewal process prior to the expiration date of your current Medical Marijuana Card.
Please note that once you have initiated your Medical Marijuana Card renewal process, your current card may be invalid until you receive your new Medical Marijuana Card in the mail. You may not be allowed to make any purchases from dispensaries. With this in mind, you may want to make sure you have enough Medical Marijuana to last you through this period that you will be unable to make purchases.
For example - Card #1 expires on 1/1/24. You may go to the physician up to 45 days before the expiration to get an updated recommendation for another year and pay the renewal fee...
South Dakota will review the renewal card application. Once the renewal card has
been approved and printed it is mailed the same day. This process typically takes approximately 2 weeks but it is possible it may take longer.
You will then receive a brand-new patient renewal card with a new number and you will be able to purchase as normal.

Once you arrive at one of our dispensaries you’ll enter through a secure entry vestibule to ensure proper verification and to protect patient privacy.
Provide our staff with you medical card and state ID or Driver's License. The verification process will take a minute or two for first-time patients as we need to verify your information by using the state’s mandated patient verification software. You’ll receive your medical card and ID back and be allowed entry into the dispensary’ sales area.
Upon entering, new patients will be required to fill out a one-time authorization form that allows the dispensary to keep your card on file and avoid the verification process on future visits.

Medical cannabis patients in South Dakota can possess up to three ounces of products at a given time, and may purchase up to three ounces of cannabis within a 14-day period. The state maintains equivalency standards to non-flower products such as edibles and oils, so make sure to check your allotment with one of our staff during your next visit. The state maintains strict and oversight and tracking of patient purchases so unfortunately we are unable to make exceptions or sell amounts that would cause a patient to exceed their legally permitted allotment.

Please beware that our online menus are provided as a courtesy however there may be times we run out of a product or must switch out batches with different potencies than listed.
